Ideas about teenage birthday parties: For my 17th birthday party, my boyfriend and I had a dance party. The theme was neon and blacklights and we would wear things that would glow under them. I bought all neon pink, neon blue, and black decorations with purple balloons that I at first thought were black but turned out to be purple.
I only knew this after they were under the blacklights but the blacklights worked with them really well because they kind of absorbed the light and made it shine more.
Everyone also wore glow in the dark things and we had glow in the dark stuff. It was really cool in the backyard with the blacklights on and no other lights.
We listened to lots of music and danced. One of the party favors were bubbles that glowed in the blacklights, which were totally awesome however you have to purchase a special type of bubble soap for that to work. It makes a really cool effect and is worth the money.
We ate cake and had a mosh pit in our backyard. Some of our activities besides the mosh pit were, billards, darts, a conga line, foam sword fighting, sparklers, and eating a bunch of pizza.
Mostly my friends and I just had a blast doing whatever came to mind, the party was talked about for weeks to come.
Hope your 17th birthday is as cool as mine was. lol, Lynn
