Birthday Candy Buffets :

A great birthday party idea is to have a candy themed birthday party with a candy dessert bar.

For instance, if you are having a party for someone who likes pink, you can use pink candy and decorations for the theme.

The tables where guests will be seated can be adorned with pink table cloths and candy themed center pieces.

Each table can have an extra large jar filled with pink candy for those seated at the tables to enjoy.

Every table can have different kinds of candy in each of the jars or you can have one separate table set up as the birthday candy buffet.

It's so easy to do. You can go to a candy store that sells candy in bulk by the pound. Fill each jar with different kinds of pink colored candy.

For instance, you can fill the jars with pink rock candies, pink cherry sours, pink gummy bears, pink jelly belly's, etc... You can also use complementing candy colors, such as red and lime candies.

For the table center pieces, you can use baskets to make a lollipop centerpiece. Here's how you make one:
  • Fill the bottom of the basket with styrofoam.
  • Stick several big lollipops (the kind with wooden sticks) into the styrofoam in the baskets.
  • Make sure to space out the lollipops so they don't look cluttered.
  • You can then cover the exposed styrofoam with pieces of pink tulle.

Another great looking decoration is to put long tall lollipops into large jars. The lollipops should be long enough that they are protruding out of the jar. The bottom of the jars can be filled with loose candy, marbles or scraps of pink tulle.

To add the perfect pizzazz to the party string up pink lights all around the tables. String lights can be found year around on the internet and during the holidays at your local stores.

For a birthday candy buffet party, you know what the party favors can be! Make candy bags ahead of time to give out - pink for the girls/ladies and blue for the boys/guys. Candy for birthday favors is the perfect choice if you have a candy themed birthday.

You can make the candy dessert bar fun and quirky if it's a kids party or more elegant and mature if it's for adults. It makes a beautiful accent to a party!
