40th Birthday Party Games Guess Who

For my 40th birthday, my husband and best friend worked together to host a party for me. Everyone had a blast- it was such a fun party. The best part of the party was the game that my husband came up with.

It had everyone laughing so hard that they were crying. In with the birthday party invitations, my husband requested that everyone send him a baby photo of themselves from when they were a toddler, along with a story of something that they did to get into mischief as a child.

It was easy to coordinate this, because most people were able to scan a photo onto the computer and email it to him. Or some people who lived close by just popped over to our house to drop it off. My husband basically used all of these pictures and stories to create a "Guess Who?" of everyone who was at the party.

It was so funny to hear stories about some of my shy, quiet friends getting in trouble for pulling tricks on their neighbors, bullying on the school yard, etc. It was also so fun to look at the little toddler pictures and try to figure out who was who. Some people really hadn't changed much, while others were so hard to figure out!

Everyone had a little score card where they wrote their answers of who they thought was who. At the end, the answers were revealed, and the people with the most right answers won a prize!

I definitely recommend this game. It was so much fun and really brought people together. It was a good icebreaker for certain friends of mine that didn't know one another well. And best of all, it reminded us all that we were young once, which is a fun reminder on your 40th birthday!
