13th Flower Birthday Party

When I turned 13 years old I had a flower themed party complete with a dirt cake! I made this out of oreos, chocolate ice cream and even put it in a pan that looked like a flower pot. (Yes I made my own birthday cake. I like to cook!) I tied a big bow around it and put fake flowers in it. It was so cute! I also bought a watering can and served juice out of it.

The dining room was covered in flowers and made to look like a garden. I had learned to make flowers out of paper and they were hanging from the ceiling. Each person was given their own fake flowers to take home with them. I even got to wear the daisy headband my mom made for me out of cardboard, and felt.

Flower Birthday Party Games

Flower for a Day We also played a game where everyone sat in a circle and was given a small bag of candy. I game them all flower names, Rose, Blossom, ect. Each person had to talk to each other and if they called the person by their real name the person that did it had to give that person a piece of candy.

Water the Flower Another game we played was water the flower. We all sat in a circle and one girl was it. She ran around as fast as she could giving us drops of water. The trick was you couldn’t grow too much you would be out. Each drop of water made you grow just a little bit. The first drop you could poke up a hand, the next drop you could poke up your next hand. Last person to grow is it and the game starts again.

Flower Birthday Craft We decorated our own flower pots with paint. Each person was then given a pack of seeds and potting soil to place in their pot. They got to take these home with them so they doubled as party favors. This party was a fun filled flower day and it was a nice way to spend my 13th birthday.
